In 1998, Solidwood Forest LTD. opened its doors in Tomball, Texas — 28 miles northwest of Houston. The business started selling hay, round poles, stock panels, and other ranch products. Tomball Forest started servicing the neighborhood's construction requirements with just one little truck and a gooseneck trailer.

Today the company has grown beyond adding to its original location in Tomball with main office operations in Waller, Texas. Expanding beyond 48 acres, the company now consists of a treating facility in Waller, and several reload facilities around the Houston area. From that one lone truck and trailer, we have grown our fleet of young rigs and several gooseneck delivery trailers to keep up with the on-time demands of our customers. Thus, Solidwood Forest Express was born. To meet the growing demands of on-time customer delivery, we are hiring professional, motivated, and safety-oriented fleet truck drivers.
